HOUSE OF 1OOO CLOCKS

A Feature Film by Marissa Palmeri

An intimate drama about grief, time, legacy, craftsmanship, and the quiet lives that shape generations.

A story of finding the courage to live beyond inherited expectations.

A man who spent his life keeping time must learn how to live it.

When his father's death leaves him the sole caretaker of the family clock repair business, a devoted clockmaker bound by inherited duty must discover that the hardest thing to repair is the life he never allowed himself to live.

House of 1000 Clocks follows Joseph Palmer, a gifted clockmaker who quietly sacrifices his own dreams to preserve generations of family legacy. Following his father's death, the careful order that has defined his life begins to fracture, forcing him to confront grief, love, and the weight of expectations that have shaped him for decades. As past and present intertwine, Joseph must decide whether honoring those who came before him means preserving the life he inherited — or finally finding the courage to live one of his own.

The film speaks to universal experiences —
love, loss, grief, inherited responsibility, healing, family, memory, and the courage to re-enter life after loss.

It asks a simple question:

What do we do with the time we're given?

About Marissa

Marissa Palmeri is a multimedia producer, editor, and visual storyteller with over a decade of professional experience across commercial, documentary, television, and independent film. She brings a full-spectrum approach to production — guiding projects from early concept and planning through shoot execution and post-production —  shaping structure, pacing, tone, and emotional clarity until the work feels inevitable.

Her presence is part of the product. Marissa is known for creating an atmosphere that’s supportive, open, and grounded—the kind of steady, intentional, harmonious energy that helps teams do their best work without unnecessary friction. She leads with calm direction, clear communication, and a people-first mindset that keeps both process and performance aligned. Clients and collaborators often describe working with her as both efficient and genuinely enjoyable: focused, organized, and creatively alive.

House of 1000 Clocks will be her first independent feature as writer/director/co-producer/editor. She has spent years helping bring other filmmakers’ visions to life; this project is the earned next step into authorship with the same standards she's practiced for a decade: clarity, preparation, collaboration, and care. She knows what a professional set requires, and she knows what an independent film needs to survive: a plan strong enough to hold the art.

Why This Film?

Marissa completed the film script on the one-year anniversary of her father’s death. Grief rearranged her life and her sense of purpose.

Her healing heart birthed this story as a way to honor his life, love, memory and their family history. He introduced her to the art of filmmaking when she was just a child. He left her with more than inherited objects — he gifted her creativity, craft, discovery, sanctuary, and legacy.

The characters and tensions draw from real experiences in her family and her own life, transformed into an original narrative that honors truth while making room for imagination.
